Gore's speed often made him a pinch runner, and he made his MLB debut with the Royals in 2014, stealing 23 bases before getting his first hit in September 2018.
Gore's impact was particularly evident in postseason games. He appeared in two postseason games with the Royals in 2015, and his speed was instrumental in the Dodgers' World Series victory in 2020.
